Join Riverside Kayak Connection and Friends for our annual Paddle to Hell (And Back). We will paddle from Pinckney Recreation Center (Bruin Lake Campground) on the first Saturday of October to Hell. The Paddle to Hell is free for participants with their own kayaks but due to the popularity of this event we will be charging a $20 deposit. This deposit will be refunded at the time of the paddle when you check in with the RKC guide. Several kayakers will stay at Bruin Lake Campground, Friday, October 5 – Sunday, October 7, 2018. There will be a pot luck and campfire Saturday evening.
Parking is available at the top of the drive to the Bruin Lake Campground boat launch on the right hand side. If you have your own kayak please drop your kayak off near the boat ramp and park your vehicle to leave room for other boaters to use the ramp. Only vehicles with trailers are allowed to park in the parking lot near the boat ramp. A State of Michigan Recreation Passport is required.
Since 2006 the Reel Paddling Film Festival has been showcasing the very best in paddling filmmaking. The featured films inspire exploration of rivers, lakes, oceans, boundary pushing and a celebration of the paddling lifestyle.
