Boat U.S. Foundation Life Jacket Loaner Program
RIVERSIDE KAYAK CONNECTION IS LOANING FREE LIFE JACKETS THIS BOATING SEASON
Riverside Kayak Connection is continuing to help keep kids and adults safe while on the water by offering free loaner life jackets to the public for the day or weekend, at no charge!
Here’s how the Boat U.S. Foundation Life Jacket Loaner Program works:
If a boating or kayaking family discovers they don’t have enough properly-fitting life jackets, they can simply visit Riverside Kayak Connection and sign out an infant, child, youth or adult life jacket for the day or the weekend. When they’ve finishing boating for the day, they can return the life jackets to the same location. Riverside Kayak Connection is making life jackets available for loan, to do our part to keep children and adults safer on the water.
If you would like to borrow a life jacket, simply stop by Riverside Kayak Connection during business hours. Our staff has been trained on how to properly fit a life jacket and will assist you in selecting the proper size.
Loans are made on a first come/ first serve basis, no reservations.
Loans are for a period of one to three days.
A Borrower Liability Release Form will be completed by all borrowers.
We ask that the child or adult who will be wearing the life jacket come into the shop so we can properly fit them into the correct size life jacket.
